I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their unrivaled support. The amount of referrals we have been getting gives me great pride, and I take satisfaction from the knowledge that we continue to deliver a superb bathroom remodeling service.

The bathrooms we have done in the last six months range from basic to the most luxurious spa retreat. Many of the bathrooms we do rival those found in bathroom remodeling books and magazines. I swore from the beginning that the day that I was no longer excited about bathroom remodeling, I would sell the company - but it seems that as each year passes, my excitement and passion for this trade only grows.

One reason for this is the ever-changing world of bathroom remodeling. Every year, there are new innovations, products and ideas. We are constantly investigating the trade world and fine-tuning our talents to bring the very best to our customers.

Through the course of bathroom remodeling jobs, there are dozens of critical steps in the planning, layout, and construction of a bathroom that, if skipped can lead to big mistakes - some of which would be "cosmetic flaws", while others could lead to serious health problems such as an improperly vented drain.

Often times when remodeling older bathrooms, we uncover and correct problems that would have eventually lead to costly plumbing repair and possibly major health problems. One example is one of the bathrooms we did at Dr. Szabo's house in West Hartford. After gutting out the bathroom, a careful inspection of the existing drain system turned up a leak at a joint where two vent pipes met in one of the walls. A leak in a vent pipe such as this provides an opening into the city's sewer system, allowing harmful gases to escape into the home. Sewer gases are very toxic - containing, among other things, hydrogen sulfide and methane. Low level exposure to these gases can cause drowsiness, nausea, and flu-like symptoms. Higher levels can cause suffocation or even explosions.
